Sailor Beetle

• Commonly found from June to September, the Sailor Beetle can be a tasty treat for a trout, and they regularly take them.
• Fish along grass banks and under trees where fish are laying in cover and waiting for terrestrials to fall into the water.
• Don't be afraid to add a few twitches to the fly as these guys don't swim well, and fish are looking for the strugglers.
