How to Use
A 12" slicing knife with grantons is typically used for slicing large cuts of meat, such as salmon, roasts, ham, turkey, or beef brisket. The grantons, or scalloped edges, create air pockets between the blade and the food being sliced, reducing friction and allowing for smoother, cleaner cuts. This type of knife is designed to produce thin, uniform slices with minimal effort, making it ideal for preparing meats for serving or further processing. The long, slender blade of the slicing knife allows for precise control and smooth, even cuts, resulting in beautifully presented slices of meat. Overall, it's an essential tool for any processor, kitchen, or culinary professional who frequently works with large cuts of meat.
