The Hi-Viz Adams is a variation of the traditional Adams dry fly used in fly fishing. It incorporates a high-visibility element, often a brightly colored wing post or parachute, to make it more visible on the water. The rest of the fly typically follows the classic Adams pattern, featuring a gray or brown body, grizzly hackle, and wings made from gray or dun-colored feathers. This modification with the hi-viz element enhances the angler's ability to track the fly's position and detect subtle strikes. The Hi-Viz Adams is commonly used for trout fishing.
