Green Drake Cripple

• Fish are opportunistic feeders the quickest, easiest, and biggest meal is the one they are generally going to be attracted to first.
• With this in mind it is no wonder why fish love cripples.
• Cripples tend to be dead bugs that died in the process of emergering, never quite forming into an adult, however, not a nymph.
• These easy protein packed meals are a trout's delight and they readily target them.
• Green Drakes are one of the biggest mayflies in the Western USA, making them the biggest hatches on a lot of rivers.
• Fish will be looking for these cripples in the hatch, making this pattern a great addition to any fly box.
