A high-floating attractor pattern, the Gray Wulff is designed to imitate large mayflies such as the Gray Drake while offering excellent visibility and buoyancy. With its upright wings and bushy profile, this fly rides high on the water, making it ideal for fast currents, riffles, and broken water where traditional dry flies can be difficult to track.
Part of the legendary Wulff family of flies developed by Lee Wulff, the Gray Wulff combines durability, floatation, and a realistic mayfly silhouette into a dependable pattern trout readily recognize. It performs exceptionally well during Gray Drake hatches and other large mayfly emergences across Western rivers, Midwestern streams, and mountain waters.
