• While crickets aren't always readily available to trout, this pattern works well during just about any terrestrial hatch.
• The black body casts the biggest silhouette, and is often indistinguishable from a tan, yellow, or olive.
• A smaller body and variegated rubber legs make this an excellent choice for most trout areas, but also in panfish waters, where bigger terrestrial patterns often won't fit in a fishes mouth.
