• If your looking for surface action in the middle of winter, chances are a midge pattern is going to be your best bet.
• Tied with a cdc wing this pattern has a bit of natural floatation to it.
• While hackle keeps this fly dancing nicely along the surface. 
• Without floatant this pattern should keep in the subsurface, however, if floatant is applied be sure to use one that is CDC friendly.
