The Stone Creek™ BH Rock Creek Stone is a heavily dressed black stonefly attractor pattern designed to create maximum movement and visibility beneath the surface. Featuring a weighted bead head, abundant hackle, and lively rubber legs, this fly delivers a realistic profile while generating the lifelike motion that consistently attracts trout.
Built to imitate large stonefly nymphs and other substantial aquatic insects, the BH Rock Creek Stone excels in fast-moving currents, riffles, pocket water, deep runs, and freestone streams. Fish deep under a strike indicator, tight-line through pocket water, or drift naturally along seams, runs, and rocky structure where stonefly nymphs are commonly found. The BH Rock Creek Stone works exceptionally well as a lead fly paired with smaller nymph patterns.
